Senior iGaming Analyst covering Australian and New Zealand offshore casinos since 2020. I write everything on this site, sign up to every casino we cover, and test withdrawals with my own funds. No comped accounts, no scripted walkthroughs.
I started writing about online gambling in 2020, mostly because my mates kept asking me which offshore casinos were worth signing up to and which ones were going to ghost their withdrawals. After three months of helping friends pick operators I realised the same questions were coming up over and over, and there was nowhere honest on the public web to read the answers. So I started writing them down.
Before iGaming I spent four years in financial services compliance, which is where I picked up the habit of reading the fine print. Reading a 47-page casino bonus PDF is not most people's idea of a Sunday afternoon. It is mine, and apparently the readers of this site benefit, so we both win.
Honestly, the part I enjoy most is the testing. Depositing A$200, playing real spins, requesting a withdrawal and timing how long the money takes to land — that is the only way to know if a casino is actually fine or if it just has good marketing. I keep a spreadsheet of every payout test I have run since 2022. It is a bit obsessive. But it means when I tell you a casino pays out in under an hour, I am telling you because I checked it.
Everything I publish under my name on this site is reviewed monthly. If something I wrote is no longer accurate — a bonus has changed, a payment method has been removed, a payout time has slipped — I update the page and note the change date in the hero. I disclose every affiliate relationship I hold, both on the About page and on every page that uses an affiliate link. I will not write paid content that pretends to be a review, and I have refused payment to soften criticism on more than one occasion. If you spot something wrong, email me at [email protected] and I'll get it corrected.
A personal note: if my work helps even one Aussie avoid a dodgy casino or recognise when their gambling has tipped into something unhealthy, that is the part of this job I am proud of. The reviews are the by-product. The honesty is the point.
